throughout film my preliminary task right up to filming my final opening scene i learnt a lot of new techniques and learnt how to use different camera angles, sound and different rules such as the 180 degree rule to create realism and add different elements to a scene in a film.
in my preliminary task we used a variety of different high and low angle camera shots and shots from different positions to show different facial expressions from each character.
also from my preliminary task i gain some basic editing skills and techniques and learnt how to cut clips together and apply sound.
when completing our final movie opening i was able to use my new knowledge of camera shots lighting and sound to improve the final movie opening. i have also learnt more about how to edit clips together more seamlessly so that the movie opening flowed properly and wasn't clunky.
when filming our final opening scene i learnt to film from different angles to create suspense and to make the action more interesting for the audience. for example:
